SD Worx Staffing Solutions acquires cross-border employment specialist TMF Jobs
August 6, 2024
SD Worx Staffing Solutions has acquired TMF Jobs, a recruitment and temporary employment agency focused on European cross-border workers. With this transaction SD Worx Staffing Solutions reinforces its market position and expands its presence in the Netherlands. SD Worx Staffing Solutions is a division of SD Worx and focuses on the flexible labour market in Belgium and The Netherlands.
TMF Jobs, based in Weert, the Netherlands, provides three main services. Sourcing & Recruitment Services is the core of the business, focusing on sourcing cross-border workers primarily from Central & Eastern European countries. Housing Services provides compliant and high-quality accommodation for sourced employees. Transportation Services, finally, offers transportation solutions for cross-border workers for whom it’s difficult to reach their locations via public transport. TMF Jobs has a longstanding supplier relationship with SD Worx Staffing Solutions and SD Worx Payrolling (Netherlands).
Maurice Bisschop, General Manager of SD Worx Staffing Solutions, comments: “With this acquisition, we broaden our capability from domestic to cross-border recruitment and temporary employment while strengthening our position in the market for large accounts. The Netherlands boasts one of the highest labour market participation rates in Europe, with low unemployment and job search rates. However, 40% of employers face staff shortages. The working-age population is shrinking and there is limited inflow from younger people. Working with cross-border employment is a sustainable solution for companies who need a flexible workforce at peak times.”
Henk van Roij, founder of TMF Jobs, will remain on board to further develop TMF Jobs, guaranteeing a smooth transition for both customers, employees and the cross-border workers supported by TMF.
SD Worx acquired 100% of the shares of TMF Jobs. The price of the transaction will not be disclosed.
For this transaction, SD Worx was advised by Boels Zanders.
